Prakriti Giri Billboard

Darjeeling, 7 Jan: Prakriti Giri mania has gripped Darjeeling Hills with people campaigning for the teen sensation from Darjeeling Hills. From Bimal Gurung, requesting people to vote for Prakriti Giri at the massive Gorkha Janmukti Morcha political meeting organised at Lebong Stadium at Darjeeling to mass public canteens being run by housewives at Chowrasta to raise fund for SMSes, Darjeeling Hills is once again set to show it to the world that a treasure-trove of talents exist in Darjeeling Hills. ‘Vote for Prashant Billboards have now been replaced with ‘Vote for Prakriti’ Billboards. “I think it is a matter of great pride of all of us. It was always believed that Amit was a better singer than Prashant and we knew that was wrong. We were even declared as a racial people voting desperately to make our boy win. We were told that Prashant was a fluke. But the same people are now ashamed at what they have said,” Ramesh Singh a local trader at Darjeeling said. “This is just the beginning, we have the best artists, musicians, singers, painters, writers and so on. Given the right platform we will definitely find our tryst with destiny,” Suman Roka, a musician from Darjeeling said.
