The Himalayan Beacon Online Gundree Bazaar

Posted by barunroy on January 26, 2008

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Darjeeling! This Online Shopping Site is an offshoot of my blog The Himalayan Beacon, where I have dedicated myself to bringing news, views and insights from Darjeeling Hills. While it had been my ardent desire to explore and share the fascinating aspects of Himalayan Culture prevalent in the Hills,it became seemingly impossible to continue my research without financial support and patronage. While The Himalayan Beacon [http://www.beacononline.wordpress.com] rising from a meager 75 readership to more than 120,000 readership in the first four months of its existence, does receive a good patronage from her most respected patron, it became evident that I had to find a better means to continue my research work. This shopping site named Gundree Bazaar after the famous market in Darjeeling is thus the result of that thought. I hope you will like the products offered through this online Gundree Bazaar and hopefully buy its products.
