    Dear Aardee
Amar is not from Doon. He is from Birgunj Nepal. He spent his whole childhood in Darjeeling. Bethany, North Point then Darjeeling Govt. College. He made a visit to Darjeeling at the fag end of the tumultuously year of the GNLF agitation. He wept when he saw his beloved Darjeeling in tatters.

Can someone provide the date of Amarji’s poem. I cannot place him like this. I had inserted the name of a book of poems called ‘Baraal ko Aasu’ in the STG.

    Thanks Raju and Barun,
I am delighted to see my long lost poem. I swear, I lost around thirty of my poems written in Nepali and so, you can imagine my delight at seeing this (one of my favorites) in print.
