Darjeeling: Darjeeling shut down after reports of alleged police high handedness on a peaceful procession of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha supporters in Panighatta. Though no specific report has reached Darjeeling Hills, indefinite strike has been called. However, people are of the opinion that the market could remain open tomorrow.
Darjeeling offered a deserted look as people remained indoors suspecting unrest. A poster appeared at Chowk Bazaar declaring indefinite strike until stern actions were taken against people who were responsible for injuring GJM supporters in Panighatta.

Govt must stop giving all the Services to GJMMs for non payments of taxes and bills. All the supply line also be cut to treat these non payers and communal instigater perfectly.

Just I have seen how police charged GJMM goondas at Panighata. Govt must deal in same way with anti Indian GJMM. Non payers of taxes, non payers of telephone bill, non payers of electricity bills, communal instigatior, adivasis attacker etc only understand the language of Police and Publics Kicks and Batton.

It’s “Yar-cha” “Gyun” “bhu”.
Its a tibetan word which means….”Yar” = Summer, “cha” = Grass; “Gyun” = Winter, “bhu” = insect. Yarcha Gyunbhu is an insect which is one during winter but turns out into grass in summer.

The GJM leaders r just making fool N using the people of darjeeling hills. all the leaders r there to make money, not a single is intrested in getting GORKHA LAND. GOVERMENT should just put the force n thrash in such a way that they forget the word GORKHA LAND.
