SPORTS WATCH: BNR defeats George Telegraph 2-0 to enter the final

Gangtok, Sep 19 (PTI) BNR Kolkata today defeated George Telegraph 2-0 in the semifinals to enter the finals of the 31st All India Governors Gold Cup football tournament played at Paljor Stadium here.
Striker Madan Buchi scored in the 67th minute to give 1-0 lead to the BNR, Kolkata before Baba Tunde converted a penalty in the 77th minute to seal the victory for his team.
The first half had ended 0-0 even as the BNR boys squandered several scoring opportunities.
In the grand final on September 21, BNR, Kolkata, will take on the winners of the second semfinals to be played between Chirag United and Kolkata Port Trust tomorrow.
