Job Descripton : Applications are invited from eligible candidates for following provisional posts for placement in various DRDO laboratories & establishments spread all over the country with all India service liability including field condition/remote areas.
1.) SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – ‘B’ (STA – ‘B’)
Total Number of Posts: 221
Pay Band-2: Rs 9300-34800, Grade Pay: Rs 4200
Desired :
B.Sc. or Three years regular Diploma in the concerned subject from a recognized University/ Technical Board / Institute.Candidates possessing the higher qualifications viz M.Sc., B.Tech., BE Degree etc. shall not be considered.
Age Limit : 18-28 Years
(relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ESM etc. as per Government of India rules.)
2.) TECHNICIAN – ‘A’ (TECH – ‘A’)
Total Number of Posts: 100
Pay Band-1: Rs 5200-20200, Grade Pay: Rs 1900
Desired: 10th pass from recognized Board & Certificate from Government approved ITI in required discipline. Candidates possessing the higher qualifications viz M.Sc., B.Tech., BE Degree etc. shall not be considered for recruitment.
Age Limit : 18-28 Years
(relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ESM etc. as per Government of India rules.
3.) ADMINISTRATIVE & ALLIED CADRE
Vacancies reported in Section-‘A’ for Admin & Allied Cadre is total and tentative.
Total Number of Posts: 110
The category wise break up i.e. SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD & others will be notified shortly in newspaper & displayed on ourwebsite www.drdo.org. Reservation will be applicable based on existing Government of India, Department of Personnel &Training provisions/ policies. The candidates belonging to all categories are advised to apply against these anticipated vacancies to avail this opportunity; however their candidature will be provisional.Age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ESM etc. as per Government of India rules.
Note :
A) The essential educational qualification, age etc as stipulated in SECTION – ‘A’ shall be determined with reference to the closing date as mentioned in advertisement.
B) Candidates must have read the required subject at least for 2 years in the degree programme. Candidates possessing the higher qualifications viz M.Sc., B.Tech., BE Degree etc. shall not be considered for recruitment.
C) The candidates must be a citizen of India.
D) Candidates must be in good mental & physical health and free from any physical deformity which may interfere in efficient discharge of duties. A candidate will be medically examined during completion of pre-appointment formalities.
E) Government servants must apply through proper channel.
F) At any stage of selection process, if it is found on verification that an individual fails to fulfill any of the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature shall be cancelled without notice and no representation in this regard shall be entertained under any circumstances.

Application Fee :
Non-Refundable Fees of Rs.50/- is to be paid through INDIAN POSTAL ORDER (IPO) in favour of “The Director, CEPTAM, DRDO, Delhi”, payable at Delhi. Cheque/Draft/Money order will NOT be accepted in any condition.Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman & Persons with Disability (PWD) categories are exempted for payment of fee for all posts.

Though CEPTAM encourages online applications through DRDO website www.drdo.org, however candidate may either download the application form & detailed guidelines/ proformas from the website www.drdo.org or can take the photocopy given in the advertisement to apply. Candidates are advised to visit our website regularly to keep themselves updated.
Last date for applying:
The application complete in all respect must reach “The Director, Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM), Recruitment Section, DRDO, Metcalfe House, Delhi-110054” on or before closing date i.e. 30 Nov 2009. Application received after the closing date will not be considered under any circumstances. CEPTAM will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss of the applications.
