BEACON ONLINE GUNDREE BAZAAR

Providing a Global platform for Gorkha craftsman, authors, painters, sculptors, manufacturers and producers

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Darjeeling!

One of the most important motive behind the initiation of Beacon Online was the desire to bring together all the Gorkhas in India and World indeed on one platform. I would have to say after more than a year of hard work, Beacon Online has partly succeeded in it – of course, the road is long and there are many who do not even know about it but I surely hope they will. The other important desire that had always found a place in my heart was to create a platform of sort where Gorkha craftsman, authors, painters, sculptors, manufacturers and producers could showcase their products – and where their creations could receive a proper appreciation. Now that Beacon Online has reached certain level of technical maturity, I have come to the conclusion that the time has come that the Gorkha craftsman, authors, painters, sculptors, manufacturers and producers be given a chance to showcase their products – With great joy thence, friends, I am introducing to you Beacon Online Self Empowerment Programme for Gorkha Artisans, Producers and Manufacturers – a Programme where Gorkha Artisans, Producers and Manufacturers will able to showcase their work and  you will be able to directly connect with these Gorkha Artisans, Producers and Manufacturers and buy their products. Most of the interface at present are rudimentary, however, I hope it will grow and diversify as it goes on.

I also hope that you will come in great numbers to support and inspire Gorkha Artisans, Producers and Manufacturers.

If you are yourself an artisan, craftsman, author, painter, sculptor, manufacturer or producer, please simply email me at barunroydarj@gmail.com specify your product and I will get in touch with you immediately.
