Hi Barun, This is Great! These days, i have started to listen to quite a bit of Nepali songs especially the oldies and some of my favorites are ‘Sworga ko Rani’ by Narayan Gopal and ‘Eh Kancha’ by Aruna Lama….hope you will share these songs with our bloggers as well… thanks…

Can anybody share the lyrics of ‘Akasaima Chila Udyo’ and info on the original singer and composer. It should be very interesting. It is a fantastic song. I have listened to the remixes and other artists singing the song but they are no way good as the original one above.

The song Aakashaima is by Sunil Parajuli his other beautiful number is Aau….anyway I googledfo the lyrics and hopefully it is correct.

Ghazal king Jajgit Singh singing a Nepali song was interesting, “Asarai mahina ma” is the only song i like about Prashant.
“Akasaima” has beautiful lyrics.
But my favourite will be from the guy from the Aastha band……Sudip Gurung. The ease with which he amalgamates english and nepali is fantabulous, his “pagalpan” (Prayas) is also my favourite and the music is really cool.

Timi Bina by The Reincarnation always brings me to tears especially when I think of Vicky singing. The first time they practiced I was with them and it was at a school roof in Chandmari. I was then their manager for a brief time (he he). Love Vicky and the boys, especially Vicky, Sandeep and Kalyan they are like brothers to me. I still wait for you guys to make a come back. You guys rocked and you still can! Keep Rocking!

Please note that Timi nai pariwartan seems to have been repeated twicw and the link in Ekantama is not working.
